About buying leads

Are you buying leads for your work from home business? I have the heard that the conversion rate for home business entrepreneurs when buying leads is 3%, which means is you buy 100 leads you might be able to make 3 sales. From my experience buying leads and talking to many people who have purchased leads you probably will not achieve this industry standard unless you are extremely good at calling leads.

Many people buy leads and get zero results from calling these lists that they buy. I spoke with a gal from Australia and she told me she bought $500 in leads and didn't get one sale. This is not uncommon, do your research and talk to people who have bought these lists and see what their results were. Most people will be embarrassed to tell you their results, but if you tell them you are thinking about a list they may tell you their real results.

Buying leads is very expensive and can quickly put you in deep debt - be careful. I do not recommend that you buy work from home leads. Here are some leads prices I found on the Internet doing a Google search.

25 leads for $68.75 $2.75 each
50 leads for $132.50 $2.65 each
100 leads for $255.00 $2.55 each

If you bought 1000 of these leads it would cost you $2550.00, do you want to spend that much on leads? Stop buying leads!

Are you willing to spend that much money on something that produces such poor results. Leads are sold over and over many times, you will also be competing with many other entrepreneurs who are also trying to "pitch" their deal on these people.

Think about this, if someone or a bunch of people who you have no idea who these people are start calling you all of a sudden to try and get you to buy something, would you buy from these people? You have never met these people and they want you to give them your money, a complete stranger on the phone who you will never meet. Are you going to give them your credit card? Then why would you expect people on the other end of the telephone to give you their credit card?

Buying leads is a waste of money. Stop buying leads!

If you have a from home business or another work from home opportunity and you are thinking about buying Isagenix leads, Forever green leads, FHTM leads, or other work from home leads, let me save you money and frustration. I have personally purchased leads before I knew any better and my results from buying leads were unacceptable. Was it possible that it was my fault the leads I bought didn't produce results? Why should these people (leads) buy from you, especially on the first call? They won't buy from you and do you blame them. I just heard a story of a guy who is very much in debt from buying leads with his credit card. Many people keep buying leads in the hopes of finding that heavy hitter or a couple of good people to put in their downline. Buying leads is a scam and I hate to use that word but it really is.

Buying leads is not the answer, most people who buy leads do very poorly and are just looking for a way to build their business. Stop buying leads if you are buying leads now, and if you are considering buying leads, my number recommendation to home business entrepreneurs is not to buy leads - stop buying leads!

The leads you are buying are sold many, many times over and the people on the other end of the line are getting very upset by the number of calls they are receiving. Think about this - why would the person on the other end even want to buy something from a complete stranger calling them to pitch them on something? They don't want buy from people they don't know.

Are you still buying leads to try and get customers or build a downline? Think about this, the people on the other end of these leads list don't know you from squat. Why would they buy from you, a complete stranger? Most people who buy leads fail miserably-STOP BUYING LEADS! Buying leads is a waste of money for the home business entrepreneur. I have personally bought leads in the past and the results were sad. I have also talked with many home business entrepreneurs who have purchased leads and their results were poor at best.

Do your research before buying leads. If you spend $300 for leads and get two people to buy, those customers cost you $150 each. the industry standard is 3% when buying leads buy I have never met anyone who has achieved the industry standard. Once you decide which company to join, you will need ways to get customers and leads. First and foremost if you are buying leads - stop buying leads! Buying leads is a total waste of money and effort, never recommend to your downline to buy leads. If you tell your people to buy leads, you will no doubt eventually loose the business builders - stop buying leads.

Buying leads produces very poor results as I have bought leads in the past and spoken to many entrepreneurs who have purchased work from home leads also. Do your own research into buying leads and you will find this to be a fact. Talk to other entrepreneurs who have purchased leads and ask them what their results were. If someone wanted me to join their business and told me to buy leads, I would not join under them as they obviously not looking out for my best interests.

How do I get customers then? there are all kinds of methods that network marketers use to generate sales or leads, many of the methods are old school and do not appeal to me. Here are a few ways home business entrepreneurs get customers. With the rising cost of gasoline many areas of our economy are affected, many people are getting laid off and companies are downsizing.
